Beautiful Karon View Point Phuket

www.phuketdining.com http One of the most beautiful scenic place on the island of Phuket is the Karon View Point, this area alone attracts thousands of Phuket visitors annually, when you arrive up to the view point you can see three of Phuket's most beautiful beaches; Kata Noi, Kata Beach and Karon Beach. So don't forget get to bring your camera and video, it really is a sight to be seen. I stop up here all the time when I am heading to the southern end of the island, and have always come back with some awesome pictures and video, if you get a chance try to stop there at different times of the day; sunrise or sunset you will really get great pictures. During the low season it's really not that crowded, but once high season kicks off it can get real busy up here with all the tourist groups stopping to get their fair share of pictures. The clouds moving in over the Indian Ocean stall on the hills along the coast from Mergui in Myanmar down to Ranong and Phuket. Khao Lak is in Phang Nga Province north of Phuket. Khao Lak weather bring in more rain than Phuket. This has to do with the hill range right behind the north south road. Khao Lak beach is better in the north as in the south of the stretch. There are plenty of beach resorts. Very popular is Khao Lak diving a few kilometers out in the Andaman Sea. The preferred dive area is around the Similan Islands. Practically every Khao Lak Hotel offers some kind of dive tour around the islands. The Khao Lak Merlin Resort is at the south end of the long stretch of beach and on the almost north end is the Meridien Khao Lak. There are plenty of other Hotels and resorts, some are expensive some are more cheap. The cheaper Khao Lak hotels are between the road and hill range, in the upper price category are the beach resorts.
